HOW TO START A NEW BUSINESS:

   (1) Start Simple.
Dont rush into something before serving an *apprentiship in some small business or hobbie

  * Select a product and spend a day or two "selling" it to get the feel of business.
Dont start out trying to sell your own product/service.
You might get discouraged initially - not because your own product/service is not marketable but simply because you lack the experience to efficiently market it.

 (2) Make sure You know how to "Sell".
No one gets paid until something is sold.

Go and sell something. It's the only sure way to learn.
Buy a cheap watch and sell it to a wise man in a pub - for twice the cost price.

   (3) Learn from Mistakes
Wisdom is learning from others mistakes.

Knowledge is learning from your own mistakes........
Wisdom is cheaper --- but knowledge lasts longer.

   (4) Talk to other People who Own their Own Business.

If you talk to people who don't own their own business you wont get the right message.

   (5) Government Employees don't own the Business.

Well meaning or other Government employees can advise you about "Compliance" - only.
It is better to find out first, what you can do yourself, before you are told what you can't do.

     The Entrepreneurs:
Wilber and Orville Wright broke the Laws of Gravity to fly an aeroplane - that got us to the moon. The Government spokesperson - Professor Langley - proclaimed (sincerely) "It wont get off the ground Orville"

    Legislation:
Legislation must have "loopholes" for us Rich - otherwise the Rich wont help the Legislators.

Legislation is only as good as the High Court of Australia is convinced it's within the Constitution.    Much of it isn't - but it costs an arm and a leg to prove that.

   Innocent Me Lud!
Remember! You are Innocent until proven Guilty - which does not rely on the Truth nor the Facts, but upon the Evidence - the Merits of the Case and a sympathic Judge.

            I Rest My Case.
